Zurich - October 11-13 2023

Landed Zurich on Wednesday October 11 and stayed two nights at the wonderful Hotel Schweizerhof Zürich, just across from the train station. Spent Thursday doing the walking tour from Rick Steve's Switzerland guide book, spreading it out through the day. Zurich is a wonderful walkable city full of history, and we spent time at the Landesmuseum learning how Switzerland came into being and how it stayed independent.

This was our second trip to Switzerland - last year we went to Geneva, Zermatt and Bern and loved it so much we came back to explore more. This time we went to Zurich, Grindelwald and Luzern. The green pins on the map show where we stayed.
